Winchester Mystery House After After wall reconstruction and new lincrusta and wallpaper, the newly mahogany-grained windows glow with new life. Art for Design also glazed the wainscot lincrusta bands and gilded the chair rails and picture rail.
South Dining Room
Winchester Mystery House, San Jose, CA. The South Dining Room has been completed, but not yet furnished. Art for Design, Inc. patinaed the lincrusta wainscot dado with metallic art glazes, gilded the chair and picture rails, mahogany grained the windows and base boards, patinaed the ceiling lincrustas with art oil glazes, gilded and painted the arch corbels. The frieze wall paper was antiqued.

The century-old peeling lincrustas on the ceiling and frieze of the South Dining Room were replaced with finds from the Winchester storage attics. Art for Design glazed and patinaed the newly installed lincrusta bands and ceiling field with color designed to harmonize with the room palette.
